I am fascinated by the natural world, and use writing as a way to share this passion. This requires a balanced approach to pique interest while delivering the right amount of information to satisfy curiosity.
With my background in biology and environmental science, combined with over a decade of professional writing experience, I am well versed in researching and distilling complex topics into relatively simple messages for various audiences.

Interpretive signs
Created for a nature walk on a rural Ontario disc golf course, these signs describe the local ecology and landscape. I worked with the owner to vet each topic, and then performed background research to deliver content that would speak to a broad audience from a wide range of age groups.
